In my hometown in the Philippines the city officials provided the farmers to bring their products and sell it in the city. The farmers are given the time from 3:00 am - 6:00am to sell their products. Of course people would go and buy their produce because it is way fresh and way cheap compare when you to the market. On Sunday the farmers are given a place to display their produce for the whole day and it's awesome to buy fruits and vegetables cheap at the same time fresh. This is MY word for Alphabe-Thursday
MARKET PLACE and MARKET DAY
Here is MY MARIGOLD I've been looking for a white Marigold and found it online.
Cannot wait to plant them again and see my first ever white Marigold.
That is awesome. I've always wanted to go to the Phillipines. I have 2 aunts who grew up there and have always told me all about it.
ReplyDeleteThe market and the marigolds are wonderful M words. I do love marigolds, and you'll be pleased with the white ones.
ReplyDeleteYour market would be fun to shop at. We have similar farmer's markets in the summer but ours use tables to sell their produce.

Love to go to a farmer's market :o) My mom's family all still in the Philippines, but the only times that I have lived there were from birth to 3years old (then my family moved with the Air Force to Massachusetts...and then moved every 2 years) and then from 1976 to 1978, when we were reassigned to Clark AFB. I would have loved to have gone back with my mom, when she would visit especially since I do not speak Tagalog (I wish I did!). She passed away in 2004, so I miss that we could have gone together. One day...
ReplyDeleteBlessings & Aloha!
Thank you so much for stopping by and for your greetings for our anniversary :o) come back again, any time.
I always enjoy exploring markets wherever I am in the world. Apologies for not calling by to comment very often, time just seems to get swallowed up by real life!
