I found this beautiful American Flag Double Dome Translucent Bottle Openers online and it just makes my senses jump. Well, last July 4th of all the food, festivities going on what you think was not in the list a bottle opener. Yes, we could  not find one bottle opener anywhere. We ended up buying one but not worth the money it was a bit pricey but for me with this bottle opener I bet it just do the same purpose. Now these one is super cheap and it looks so beautiful and  I so love the US flag on it. Got to buy these for gifts I have many baby, bridal, birthday party invitation this bottle opener is one stuff to put inside a gift bag, for sure!

Be Still

In New York you see these often in any shapes, size, form and get up. When I see this one at Easter Market in Detroit, I am impressed. It was so hot and he/she is so cool to stand there and showcase her/his moves. The move was slow but graceful, I like it!

My vacation story is not done yet. Hubby and I decided to take another trip this August and we are looking forward to it. We decided not to go out from our state instead we will enjoy our state has to offer. Eastern Market is a must to go if you happen to come in be in Detroit.
Last July 4th was our vacation get away in between we have short trip just around lakes or visiting some good restaurants. There are so many county fairs right now so many festivals are coming and a lot of food to eat.So summer for me is not yet done and so many things to do I am out of touch at other social media since I would like to grasp the summer has to offer before we get cold again.

The night before July 4th while hubby was cruising down US Hwy 131 we saw these SHOE TREE. This is located at Kalkaska. Michigan.

Then last year here in Detroit, Michigan they started a Catholic Mass Mob every month a mass mob will be held to the church is going to host the event. Before we do the mass mob hubby and I already doing church visits. I told him if it was his first time to visit a church, say a prayer and ask God for three prayer intentions then trust. ^_^ Upper photo taken at Old Mission Peninsula Catholic Church, left is Old St. Mary church, right  is St. Anne De Detroit.

Beauty In Nature

Why I like summer here in Michigan is because you see the fullness of beauty in nature. Michigan for me is the best state, lol! NO pun intended lol!! We have the best summer weather this year and I can say it with gusto because my flowers are exponentially doing great!!

Tomorrow will be another set of beautiful photos. By the way, in order for me to enjoy this beauty I cut them and bring them inside the house. The house when you have fresh flowers become very welcoming, cozy and more homey. My roses is for my altar....remembering someone who doesn't forget to put offer flowers to Mama Mary....my very own Mama Taling. Every time I see beautiful flowers it brings a lot of memories. ^_^

Arte Povere

As a member of the “Arte Povere” movement where artists turned to the use of non-traditional, natural materials as the basis of their work, trees and vegetation play an important role in Penone’s sculptures and installations. It will Continue to Grow Except at that Point is amongst the most iconic of Penone’s broad and diverse repertoire. Based on actual installations and photographs thereof, it discusses the idea of mankind’s relationship with nature.

When I take photos I like to be up close and personal. I can say this is one of my top three of the most "Thinkable Piece of Art" in that Japanese Garden. The tree is black. And the arm is hanging right there so crazy I really am so amazed!

What A Friend

The first musical instrument I heard my Dad play is the Ukelele in fact we had it for years growing up. But for some reason we lost it or maybe was broken we couldn't find it and were sad because it is kind of one remembrance from Dad.  Anyhow, after that my brother had a guitar and he did play for awhile but he was busy making money of his own even if he was in high school at that time. Now, when a friend asks me where he or she can find a great deal for any kind of musical instruments I refer it to this website https://www.musiciansfriend.com

What's For Sunday

Last 4th of July weekend hubby and I went to Traverse City, Michigan. Going up north here in MI you can find beautiful barns old and new. This barn was taken in Old Mission Peninsula, MI.

Did you noticed the window treatment? I love the red color against the rustic old barn.
