St. Florian Catholic Church

Anyone heard about Mass Mob Detroit Catholic Mass Mob ? Last year I heard about it and I checked the website right away and lo and behold on that weekend a mass mob is scheduled. Hubby and I went that Sunday and this is my first church I attended...St. Florian at Hamtramck, Michigan.

My First Booms

Yesterday, I took the time of pulling some dried leaves and voila I found my two blooms this spring. It's my first bloom of spring. The tulips looks awesome to me none was eaten by bunnies yet! ^_^

Reddish Orchid

Up close and personal this orchid is deep burgundy reddish color. It is so pretty that if only I could grow orchids here in my area I would do so. Thankfully, we have a garden and sculpture here in my state that we could visit and look at different variety of orchids. And did you see a red dot in the middle of white petal? Is that so pretty unique only mother nature can do that.

Not until I look and crap this picture that I noticed it has a name. It says Melodie Acres and on the side is Antiques so wish we stopped here I bet I could find a good one here but I think we've got to visit this place again so to appease my curiosity ^_^

Every time hubby and I went for a drive I always find beautiful barns. You see here in Michigan you can still find beautiful barns. Some need TLC but many are gorgeous and pretty. These  particular barn seems to me is doing well and I do like the paint on top of the silos.

I am back in taking barn photos. Barns is like a testimony of how people work before and now. Here in Michigan we still have plenty of barns some are being repaired, some are new, some are gone and only the silo was left standing, and some you see is on the ground and I guess it cannot be renovated or repaired. These time I got two to show for this week.

Reds Along The Way

Last week, hubby and I went for a long drive. We went to Grand Rapids then to Ludington, Michigan. Going back the next day the sun comes out the much awaited time of the say when the sun is warm and shining so I took a lot of photos along the highway.

                                              I love pizza especially if it taste like homemade. These store seems like they had a good pizza. What do you think?

Our World

Last Saturday, I was very surprised when I look above our tree line this huge air balloon was just on top of it. I ran towards the house and took photos immediately. I even went to the field to get a good shot and I heard the sound of the fire. It is my dream to ride a hot air balloon but seems that it is expensive and hubby won't come with me, lol! I spent Labor day weekend in New York and New Jersey my first time to visit this  two beautiful states. I would definitely go back if given a chance because me and my friends did not see a lot of place seems like two days is not enough!! ^_^

As of this writing snow still keep coming down when we got up tomorrow there will be more snow on the ground I have not seen the ground for weeks! And this week we should expect more below 10 F temperature I am so happy to say bye bye winter but seems like it will take a little longer for it to happen...

Driving in winter

Our world is surrounded with snow and now since the temperature goes up the snow turns to (some) ice and is pretty scary. But somehow when you live here in Michigan you know how to drive in this kind of weather. But unfortunately some drivers think they are in the desert that they don't consider the road and the people in front of them or behind them that is why many ended up in the ditch! I have not yet perfected (who can perfect it) on how to drive in winter but I am working on it I have to, lol!
