It is kind of nice to look it up again and again how I started. Then I made my 2nd pockte letters that tells about what hubby and I did last summer. We were outside the whole summer, I even bought a tent for us to take a rest at the beach when the sun is is my picnic pocket letter.

Audio Jack

Hello bloggers how's everyone's weekdays? So far here in my neck of woods we are already cold. But I can't complain much because we don't have much snow yet, lol! We had one day of snow and that was last week before Thanksgiving. And because we don't have snow yet I could go shop around without hubby tagging alone.
The other day I went to an electronic store because I want to buy something for hubby for Christmas. He is eyeing for a sound system and so off I go. But when I was inside the store I was overwhelmed by so many choices. Just by they audio jack types alone I can't figure out, lol!  So I realize what the heck I will tell him and let him pick what he wants that would solve my problem.

Lake Superior

These photos are facing Lake Superior and I thought this is a lake?? I have not seen a lake like this so huge a huge cargo shipping boat could sail in here. Here in Michigan we may not have sea or ocean but look at how beautiful Lake Superior is and I am not yet in the places where the huge rocks meets the lake. ^_^ While taking the photos I try to see Canada. That day was a bit gloomy but sun came out I could only see a silhouette of Canada and someday I will be in the other part looking at Michigan, wish come true right?

I love playing guitar and I was in my mid 20's when I learned how to strummed a guitar and I taught myself. My brother in his teens got a guitar from my Dad. I remember he didn't give a lot of time strumming it or trying to learn it more until I remember the guitar was gone. Now I have friends who has a band and thisfishman powerbridge is their thing. They are into acoustic music and this is indeed good for them. Personally I like acoustic sound it is kind of sexy but tame and aside from my love of jazz music I am also venturing on listening to music like rap, hmmm.

Bukagan Hill

Bukagan Hill can be found in Ozamis City, Mindanao, Philippines. I could see this hill from our house. I climbed this hill together with my friends and classmates and schoolmates when we had a tree planting project in high school. I climb this hill in time for Holy Week. For the past years me and my mother used to go with the procession every Holy Thursday. So many fun filled memories happened in this hill and so hope the people will continue to take care of it.

Violin Bow

Does it came to your mind if you can play a musical instruments of any kind? In my dreams I do like to play violin, hehe. Why? Because in our church our choir has someone playing the violin every Sunday and it change the music big time. Especially, after communion when all are quiet in their prayers and the only playing is the soft music from the violin. That's when I start dreaming and wishing that in just in an instant like magic I can play violin, but not!! Everyone has to learned and have patience and endurance to learned. I do not know how much a violin cost because one time my niece ask me if she could play violin but I flatly say no for I do not know how much it cost for a violin. Then I found this violin bow online and it looks beautiful and sturdy. So if you happen to look for violin bow go check this site.

What you think is this?? Well it is a cherry. When I spotted these before leaving Traverse City I told hubby to turned around and see what it was. At first I thought it is a tomato well it is not it is cherry. The designed is what makes me think the meaning of it because for sure there is one explanation why it does look like that, lol. These you can find at Hoxsies Farm right along Hwy 71

Be Still

In New York you see these often in any shapes, size, form and get up. When I see this one at Easter Market in Detroit, I am impressed. It was so hot and he/she is so cool to stand there and showcase her/his moves. The move was slow but graceful, I like it!

My vacation story is not done yet. Hubby and I decided to take another trip this August and we are looking forward to it. We decided not to go out from our state instead we will enjoy our state has to offer. Eastern Market is a must to go if you happen to come in be in Detroit.
Last July 4th was our vacation get away in between we have short trip just around lakes or visiting some good restaurants. There are so many county fairs right now so many festivals are coming and a lot of food to eat.So summer for me is not yet done and so many things to do I am out of touch at other social media since I would like to grasp the summer has to offer before we get cold again.

Taken Old Mission Peninsula, Traverse, Michigan

The night before July 4th while hubby was cruising down US Hwy 131 we saw these SHOE TREE. This is located at Kalkaska. Michigan.

Then last year here in Detroit, Michigan they started a Catholic Mass Mob every month a mass mob will be held to the church is going to host the event. Before we do the mass mob hubby and I already doing church visits. I told him if it was his first time to visit a church, say a prayer and ask God for three prayer intentions then trust. ^_^ Upper photo taken at Old Mission Peninsula Catholic Church, left is Old St. Mary church, right  is St. Anne De Detroit.

Beauty In Nature

Why I like summer here in Michigan is because you see the fullness of beauty in nature. Michigan for me is the best state, lol! NO pun intended lol!! We have the best summer weather this year and I can say it with gusto because my flowers are exponentially doing great!!

Tomorrow will be another set of beautiful photos. By the way, in order for me to enjoy this beauty I cut them and bring them inside the house. The house when you have fresh flowers become very welcoming, cozy and more homey. My roses is for my altar....remembering someone who doesn't forget to put offer flowers to Mama very own Mama Taling. Every time I see beautiful flowers it brings a lot of memories. ^_^

Arte Povere

As a member of the “Arte Povere” movement where artists turned to the use of non-traditional, natural materials as the basis of their work, trees and vegetation play an important role in Penone’s sculptures and installations. It will Continue to Grow Except at that Point is amongst the most iconic of Penone’s broad and diverse repertoire. Based on actual installations and photographs thereof, it discusses the idea of mankind’s relationship with nature.

When I take photos I like to be up close and personal. I can say this is one of my top three of the most "Thinkable Piece of Art" in that Japanese Garden. The tree is black. And the arm is hanging right there so crazy I really am so amazed!

What A Friend

The first musical instrument I heard my Dad play is the Ukelele in fact we had it for years growing up. But for some reason we lost it or maybe was broken we couldn't find it and were sad because it is kind of one remembrance from Dad.  Anyhow, after that my brother had a guitar and he did play for awhile but he was busy making money of his own even if he was in high school at that time. Now, when a friend asks me where he or she can find a great deal for any kind of musical instruments I refer it to this website

What's For Sunday

Last 4th of July weekend hubby and I went to Traverse City, Michigan. Going up north here in MI you can find beautiful barns old and new. This barn was taken in Old Mission Peninsula, MI.
