A Creek and a Pagoda

A beautiful creek speak it all. The ground is covered with moss and somewhere at the side which was not photograph were flat stones that has wordings on it very cool to walk around and finding those stones and read the inscription. The place is very relaxing and peaceful.

Cherry

 

What you think is this?? Well it is a cherry. When I spotted these before leaving Traverse City I told hubby to turned around and see what it was. At first I thought it is a tomato well it is not it is cherry. The designed is what makes me think the meaning of it because for sure there is one explanation why it does look like that, lol. These you can find at Hoxsies Farm right along Hwy 71

Lavender Festival

Last weekend hubby and I went to a Lavender Festival. Though we did not pick lavenders but we went to see booths from different farms. I saw this beautiful lavender painted bike and smitten by it. I want to bring this  bicycle home!

Saw many lavender in pots for sale we ended up buying three pots since I already have three lavenders planted few weeks ago.

Listen to a demonstration on what lavender could do to our body. After the talk we ate lavender brownies and lavender shortbread with lemon lavender tea, yummy!

Saw this cart that says Bulk Lavender $22.00/lb. Hubby thought of buying it but forget to do it. So we have to go to the farm this weekend to buy some.

              I was drawn to this booth. The color is so pretty I love to stay here and look at there stuff!

Can't get enough with lavender. I am hoping my six lavenders that I planted this year will give flowers next year. If that will happen I will be happy!!

Do You Miss Me Yet

Do you miss me yet? Who does not? Anyway, here in MI we started to have snow. People are looking forward to have snow since we don't have that much. But hey, who don't miss this place? Soon enough spring is here and summer too!
