Thrifted

I like bargain hunting. I usually find the things I like for my fashion sense by looking those stuff ( clearance sale) and wait for it to come by before I do my fashion look. The other day I went bargain hunting and find this red skirt and an Anne Klein shoes. For the two items it only cost me less than $15.00!! What a deal huh?

Yellow Rose

We need to see colors right? Christmas season is done and gone and so the Christmas colors are also kept away. I was looking at the sunrise today and the color is beautiful. But could not get a good photos since it is behind tall trees. Today, I decided to look for beautiful flowers taken last year in my archive and found this beautiful yellow rose. These is the winner in the Rose Show last year. I didn't know that these particular variety of rose is the original rose, hmmmm, didn't know that. Do you?

Beautiful Arts

Last Friday hubby and I went to Detroit Institute of Arts to see Rembrandt and the face of Jesus. But when we arrived there tickets are sold out. Good thing the exhibition will last till February 12, 2012. So since we are there and outside was raining hard we opted to see the other arts exhibits and galleries. I am amazed of so many beautiful paintings it was displayed. Somebody did tell each painting to who paint it and what the painting is all about. I think if you look the painting closely, you could tell who and what stories these came from. Except the second mosaic the photo on the left at the bottom, it's not a story from the bible. It's about a boy who is madly in love to this goddess...forgot the name of the boy and the goddess. ^_^

Mosaic Monday

   Went to SA and Goodwill last Thursday and found some very good stuff that made me smile.

Above: 3 brass angels for $3.99, Martha Stewart table napkin 4pcs for $2.99
Below: I took this right away for this will be my Advent wreath/candle holder $2.99, steamed glass 8 pcs for .56 cents

Above: decorative cage $5.99, a set of blue dish $3.99
Below: this made me say alleluia ^_^ each table cloth is just $ 3.99  it's not vintage but it is pretty!!

Odd?

Finding flowers that are not so common is awesome. My first time to see an eyeball flower. See for yourself, is that look an eyeball to you? But frankly, I like to have a plant like this ^_^
