It is almost the time of Apple picking again which I often like to do every fall. Two years ago I made a lot of apple butter. Last year I did not do anything but this year I am thinking of making apple sauce but will see if I can find a free apples to pick hehe.

Oh...I'm not ready to be thinking about fall! Weather today in Chicagoland is chilly! In July! But I do love apples♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/abstracts/
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! Lucky you to have made all that apple butter and apple sauce is always a good choice for those that have fallen off the trees.

We have 3 apple trees in our garden - 2 were here when we arrived back in 1990 and the other one is a "Discovery" and was a wedding anniversary present from Jon's parents. Absolutely delicious. I am relying on my garden for inspiration throughout this round of ABC Wednesday - will be reading your contributions with great interest.
