Sunflowers Centerpiece

This year we are so blessed the birds planted sunflowers for us! ^_^ This is the first time that happened and I am so happy about it. Well the temperature this time is less than 60F and sunflowers don't like gloomy and windy day so they tend to stooped I decided to cut them and make a beautiful centerpiece.

Bates Boots

     Today is super busy day for me I went to the mall to meet two of my friends for lunch. After lunch we went shopping for a bit and after that both of my friends went home. I was left alone in the mall so I went around and find a store for men. I was looking for a boots especially for winter. Here in Michigan it would be hunting season soon and that hubby needs a new boots for that. It is so hard to find a boots for him he has a problem with his left foot. So when I told him I was in this store he told me not to buy anything just to get the price and get a picture of it because he wants to fit it which is very understandable. When I got home I showed him the photos and he kind of liking some of the boots but not until he fit it that is when I could tell he really love it. We were at our patio while showing the photos when my brother in law came to our house. He knew what we are talking about and he told us to find Bates boots online. He always goes to this site to buy his boots and for him he likes it. Hubby relies on his brother so now he is looking at it.

Fall is here!

Just like when I see dishes or knick knacks for the house I always told myself not to buy anymore but I end up buying some more. Well the same as the clothing, I told myself not to buy any for fall because I have many sweatshirts, blazers or jackets but I end up buying one or two. But hey, this is one thing that I am proud of I do not buy them in the regular store where you have to pay it for an arm and a leg. I bought them at a thrift store.

This one is so pretty when I saw this at the thrift store I grab it immediately and thought...you will come home with me! It is a Calvin Klein Jeans for sure this will cost around $30 or high but got this for $4.99 hehe

This is BCBG Maxaria and this is very elegant looking jacket, wohoo!

An old navy shirt I know what to put in with this one. 

I get so happy when I get good materials and dresses with less money. Do you also shop to thrift stores?

What I Wore

 It is cooling off at this time of the month. Though sun is out but the air is comfortable and be out there is really great. I am wearing a blue sun summer dress but putting my white jacket because it is a bit cold. 

And white jackets can go with any color and pattern so if you find one that suit for your liking grab it. It is a good addition to your wardrobe essentials. ^_^ I got this H&M jacket at a church rummage sale for .25 cents! Is it a good deal or not! ^_^

Things I Thrift-ed

Went to SA the other day looking for something this fall. But in my mind I am looking for making a tea. Usually I am concocting tea for more than what I needed. This time I get the most tea pot I have ever been waiting to find. 

See this corningware tea pot? It is stove top and yes I an make tea from my herbs with this for just two or three cups and I am so loving it. There were two of this displayed on the shelves but the other one looks used and old this one looks new the cover is clean and not dent whatsoever. 

 This three tin cans made me smile. Because I can already imagine what I can do with this. This will be for my herbs this coming fall and winter. At the bottom there are holes ready for planting.

Cruet which I am looking for months. When I spotted these two I grab it immediately and for the price of $4.99 half off discount. ^_^ It is still in the box when I bought  this one never been used. ^_^

Some Help

     Wow, it is another Friday and it is another weekend people! Where are you heading tomorrow? Hubby and I are thinking of going somewhere it could be a farm or a park. Here in Michigan, we have to see first for the weather but it looks like this week we have a great weather. I still even feel it is summer. I see some leaves falling but not much yet. I do hope the temperature will stay below 80’s because it feels good to stay outside for quite a bit.
     Anyway, there are some events in our life that we need help. It can be our friends or us and if that happen we have to help them. In this time, I heard some people are deliberately been out of job because their company is closing or downsizing. However, there are some instances that there is no reason why you are just being kicked out by your employer and that is not fair. If you live in San Diego, area look for San Diego employment attorney. They surely do help with all your questions and needs in this matter.

Orange tiny flower

I found this flower at the bottom of my hibiscus.  I think this is wild but it does look very pretty. The color is deep orange and the flower is so small this is a macro shot. Right now I am looking for the name of this one. Hope anyone out there know the name of this.

Things Thrifted

I was at Goodwill when I happened to find this beautiful box with three compartments. I light bulb lit immediately so I picked it up and put in my cart.

This is what I created from this box house kind of vase. Ain't it so pretty?

I love lanterns and this I find it very pretty. Another accessories for fall. ^_^

This I hand right now in front of our door. It is a tin form like an envelope so pretty.

I have been looking for this and I found it for $15.00 I bought it immediately. This wagon is a great help for me when I am harvesting my vegetables. Love it!

A multiple hooks but I made it to hang my necklaces. ^_^

Sconces

     How is your Labor Day weekend everyone? I was busy this weekend I went to a beach party last Sunday. Monday we had a family reunion then today we attended my husband cousin’s funeral. Today at the funeral home, I meet more relatives from my husband’s side. I have been here in the States for eight years and my husbands relatives keep coming as the years come and go. I never thought how huge is my husband’s family until I started to attend wedding and funeral. ^_^
     At the funeral home I saw these beautiful sconce shelf mounted on the wall. It is very pretty. I do not know if it is right to admire it because it is a funeral home but they look elegant and beautiful. I also noticed some houses that I have been through they make sconces as part of their house decoration and it is great especially at nighttime when every light is turn on. For me to add a lighting like this in our home adds the appeal of the house what do you think?

Window toppers

     I love window toppers. Every time I go to a store the first thing I look is if they have sale for window toppers. I am over gaga with it. It begins when my SIL gave me hers and I immediately put it up in our spare bedroom. It changes the aura of the bedroom and arranging the furniture here and there it change the whole room to a different room. I never realize a tiny change can make a difference. From then on I tried to look for good deals and fortunately I found it most of the time.
